Doctors at a US hospital are tonight preparing to turn off life support for Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown.
The devastating decision comes five days after the 21-year-old was placed in an induced medical coma after being discovered lying facedown in a bathtub at her Atlanta home.
While some reports have suggested that machines keeping the aspiring singer alive were turned off in recent hours, a family source has said this is not the case but close relatives, including father Bobby Brown, have gathered at the hospital to say goodbye to 'Krissy'.
"Everyone is coming to the hospital to say goodbye. Bobby has been crying nonstop since yesterday. We are grieving," said a source.
It's believed that Bobbi Kristina's grandmother Cissy has still not seen her but plans are in place to get her to Emory University Hospital as soon as possible.
TMZ is reporting that doctors have told Bobby there is nothing else they can do to save his daughter's life but is reluctant to turn off the machines as someone in his extended family battled out of a coma after eight days.
The tragedy comes three years after Whitney was found dead in a bathtub in a hotel room at the Beverly Hilton.
