Fans are convinced Beyoncé’s mum revealed the gender of her twins

Visual updates on the pregnancy of one of our favourite fashion icons have been few and far between lately, but Beyoncé's mum threw the Beyhive a bone this week... and caused a flurry of excitement in the process.

Tina Lawson posted a stunning shot of the superstar, who is pregnant with twins, with her ex-Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland as the family hung out in the garden over Easter... and Queen Bey is owning maternity wear like never before. Blue Ivy's mama looked stunning in a white off-the-shoulder maxi dress designed to showcase her growing bump. Beyoncé accessorised with mirrored sunnies and super stylish braids.

But it was the caption that had everyone jumping to conclusions. Tina captioned the image: "3/4th of my girls. Missing 1/4 at Coachella. My Solo. Bianca." Instagram followers immediately asked what we were all thinking; '...the detective in me thinks she's referring to at least one of the babies.' said one fan. '... she seems to be suggesting one of the twins is a girl, why am I the only one catching this????' pleaded another of Tina's followers. However, eagle-eyed fans came up with a plausible explanation: Tina's step-daughter, Bianca, was taking the photo so she wrote the caption, complete with a shout-out to Solange, who was missing due to her appearance at Coachella that weekend. 'I think Bianca was actually taking the photo. So therefore she would only be missing one which would be SoLo!' wrote @a_leos_maine. @dduszynska added: 'Don't you think that Bianca took the picture and wrote the caption? And that's why her name is written on the end of the caption?' Guess we'll just have to wait for the birth announcement like the rest of the world. Sigh.
