Fans on Instagram can be a little crazy.
Following a major backlash over a Beyoncé photoshop, the people in charge of major American magazines seem to be obsessed with photoshopping celebrities.
The latest celebrity to suffer the repercussions of Photoshop was American tennis star Serena Williams in People magazine.
Williams was named one of the Most Beautiful People in the magazine and uploaded her picture to Instagram, not knowing the backlash she would have to face.
The picture shows a questionable distorted bar behind the tennis bar’s back, suggesting that the picture was Photoshopped to make her waist smaller.
Fans reacted everywhere to the clearly visible Photoshop:
why did people magazine barbiefy @serenawilliams‘ waist?? she’s beautiful as is and that photoshop is honestly ridiculous

Following the backlash from many of her devoted fans, Williams then uploaded a different version of the photo, with her waist looking healthy and intact. Hmmm.
Will magazines ever let us look the way we actually are? Who knows.
