The first X Factor auditions of 2014 kicked off yesterday in Manchester and the judges were all smiles as they arrived at the Lancashire County Cricket Club.
Cheryl Cole, Mel B, Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell walked the red carpet and posed for photos even taking time to take a selfie or two with waiting fans.
The news that Mel B, who found fame with the Spice Girls, would be coming on board as a judge was announced last week with the singer stating: "I've always thought honesty is the best policy when being a judge and that's what I'm going to bring more of this year - whether it's spotting an incredible singer, giving someone a reality check or debating with Simon over who's got it wrong.
"Now I can't wait to get started and find some amazing talent".
This year's series could be the most explosive yet, Cheryl is making a return and it will be interesting to see how her and Simon get on not to mention her relationship with Louis after the Girls Aloud days.
Mel B isn't exactly known for keeping quiet either so 2014 could see it all kick off, whether you love or hate the reality TV show it's all too easy to become obsessed once it starts!
