It is understood that only a handful of the cast will get to travel, with some of our MIC favourites staying put in their London homes. The show's cast that do get to head Stateside at the end of May will have their own apartments in New York, and will be placed in summer jobs/internships similar to the set-up previously made popular by shows like The Hills and The City.
Executive producer Sarah Dillistone spoke of the upcoming travel plans for the BAFTA winning show:
"New York has a scene buzzing and sophisticated enough to rival Chelsea, so it feels like the next natural step. We're going to see the cast out of their bubble for the first time since the show began and I'm sure the result will be nothing like we've seen before."
