Gary Barlow’s 17-year-old son is the absolute image of him

Gary Barlow tends to keep his family out of the public eye but to mark his son Daniel's 17th birthday, the singer shared a snap of them hanging out together. Of course, the first thing you'll notice is how similar the pair look and it wasn't long before the Take That star's followers started commenting on the photo, all saying the same thing. One Instagram user wrote "he's an absolute mini Gary", another said "it's like Gary with his arm around his younger self", and someone else chimed in with "carbon copy of his dad".

The teenager is Gary's eldest child with his wife Dawn, whom he married in 2000. Daniel is brother to Emily (15) and Daisy (8) with the couple's fourth child, Poppy, delivered stillborn in 2012. Gary has gone from strength to strength since his early days with Take That and although he still continues to top the charts, he's also carved out a successful career as a head judge on reality shows, The X Factor and Let It Shine.
