"A little mate".

Last month, Gary Beadle of Geordie Shore fame announced that he and girlfriend Emma McVey were expecting a baby. Although the reality TV star had previously hinted they were having a baby girl, they've now confirmed that they're expecting a baby boy. In an interview with OK! magazine, the couple revealed their news with Gary proudly saying:

"It's a boy, I can't wait to have a little mate".

He then went on to say:

"For me, obviously I wanted a boy, so I’m buzzing".

Emma chimed in to say that she would have been delighted with either a boy or a girl but that they both thought they were having a boy.

"We both guessed right. I didn’t mind either way. Gaz really wanted a boy, though".

It seems Gary was trying to throw everyone off the scent with this Instagram post and to be fair, it worked pretty well.

Emma, 24, and Gaz (29) first started dating in August 2016 but broke up in May of this year amid rumours that Gaz had been cheating on his girlfriend. They reconciled in June and their baby news was announced in August.

Neither of them has divulged exactly how far along Emma is but it has been suggested that she's more than halfway through her pregnancy. We'll have to wait and see when Baby Beadle makes an appearance...
