Love Island star says she “stands with victims” of revenge porn

Disgraced Celebrity Big Brother winner, Stephen Bear was sentenced to 21 months in jail after he leaked a video showing himself and ex Georgia Harrison having sex.

The video of the pair having sex in Stephen Bear’s garden was captured on his CCTV and was later posted to OnlyFans without Georgia’s consent.

Bear was sentenced in Chelmsford Crown Court where he was found guilty of voyeurism and disclosing private sexual photographs and films with intent to cause distress.

Following the sentencing Georgia spoke about about how much this has impacted her life.

She said she’s “happy and relieved” that it’s all over but that the entire experience was her worst nightmare.

She said: “Millions of people were watching me and laughing at me and it was completely, utterly out of my control.

“Even when people weren’t talking about it, I couldn’t physically be in the room.

“He’s left me feeling hurt, embarrassed, insignificant and insecure in so many ways. I simply don’t have the confidence I used to have.”

Georgia said when she saw that the video was posted online, it made her feel “so sick”.

She said: “Today’s sentence is a vindication of what I’ve been put through, and it sends a clear message that the police and the courts take this matter very seriously.

“I want to let all other victims of this crime know that I stand in solidarity with them and I have absolutely no regrets on waiving my anonymity.

“I hope that this puts anyone off committing this sort of crime and for anyone who has been a victim of it, I hope it gives them some sort of justice.

“Thank you so much for all of your support.”

The judge who sentenced Bear, Judge Christopher Morgan, said he had “wished to exploit the economic value of the recording” when he shared it online.

Judge Morgan accused Bear of causing Georgia, “extensive humiliation and embarrassment.”

Since the trial started in December, 33-year-old Stephen Bear showed no remorse or responsibility for what he did.

He had posted videos of himself mocking Georgia crying and even went as far as to blame her for his actions.

Following each court appearance, Bear seemed to enjoy the media attention yet didn’t take the opportunity to apologise for his crimes.
