Jennifer Maguire is one-third of 2FM’s Breakfast Republic, as well as being one of Ireland’s most recognisable faces as a result of her role on Republic Of Telly.

She took some time out from her busy schedule to talk Bieber, biscuits and her crush on Vincent Browne.

Tell us one surprising thing about you.

I’m afraid of mushrooms

What is the most embarrassing thing that you’ve ever done?

I walked into a glass window at Pearse Street station in front of hundreds of people. I would like to thank the stranger who picked me up as I fell on my arse.

If you could delete someone’s entire existence, who would it be?

Hitler and Bieber.

Which trait do you most love and hate about yourself?

I’m not a scab, I’ll always put my hand in my pocket at the bar. What I hate about myself is I really thought I was better looking than I actually am. That’s annoying

Who would be your four perfect dinner party guests?

My family and friends as I’m so busy at the moment I never see them. My fiancé definitely… I haven’t seen him since 2008.

What’s the worst chat-up line that you’ve ever used?

Recently, when walking my dog, a bloke asked when could he take me for a walk. I was insulted and flattered at the same time.

What is your favourite biscuit and why?

Toffee pops. They’re low fat right?

Which Irish celebrity do you secretly fancy?

I fancy everyone from Marty Whelan to Jean Byrne to Vincent Browne. I see something beautiful in all of them.

If you could live in any era, which one would you choose and why?

I’m not going back because it was so shit to be a woman. So it has to be the future.

Dogs or cats?

Dogs for sure. I don’t like cats and they don’t like me.

If you were to take the Her.ie team for dinner, where would we go?

Nandos. I have a chicken cheque so dinner is on me!
