It sure seems as though people are looking for any excuse to hate on Meghan and Harry.
Whether it’s a choice of outfit, body language, or anything really – people are quick to comment.
Last week, Kensington Palace shared an adorable snap of Prince Louis to celebrate his birthday.
The image was captioned:
“Happy Birthday Prince Louis! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share this new photograph of Prince Louis ahead of his first birthday tomorrow.”
Harry and Meghan’s instagram account then commented on the snap, saying:
“Happy Birthday Louis! Sending lots of love from both of us xo.”
Seems nice enough, right?
Well, people went OFF about the fact that Meghan and Harry didn’t use an official title for Louis.
You couldn’t make it up…
“@sussexroyal if you don’t believe in titles that’s fair enough, but then don’t expect people to use yours to address you,” wrote one follower.
Another commented: “@sussexroyal It’s Prince Louis to you; he outranks you both.”
“He is a prince… and also 5th in line so should be address by his title as show of respect …not just Louis..@sussexroyal.”
People are pretty intense.
Thankfully, some people came to the defence of Harry and Meghan.
“Some of you should get over it! They are related. I wouldn’t call my nephew Prince!”
