Two things are a must when you’re a tourist in the capital, a pint of Guinness and a Dublin City Bus Tour.

Kings of Leon have been in the country since the beginning of the week in preparation for their massive in gig in Marlay Park last night, which judging by Nathan Followill’s latest tweet, was a pretty epic affair.

The lads, who have been spotted by a few lucky sods in and around the city, were given 4th of July gifts from U2 and Kodaline.

Jared Followill has been keeping (teasing) us up-to-date with KOL antics via Instagram and uploaded two posts thanking the bands’ for their Guinness generosity.

The video was accompanied by the caption: “Lots of classy Irish folks! Thanks for the pints, boys!”

It appears Kodaline were pipped to the present-giving-post by U2, Jared uploaded the following image of the ‘U2ers’ gift, writing: “Always classy. Always welcoming. The band that taught us how to do things on the road”.

We’re sure Kodaline, Bono and the lads know that we just celebrated our second birthday… our package is clearly in the post.
