He Kept That Quiet: Avengers Star Is Going to Be a Daddy

Some will remember the winners. Others will remember the dresses. But we will remember this particularly juicy piece of gossip from this year’s Golden Globe Awards.

According to reports today Jeremy Renner, star of The Avengers and The Hurt Locker, revealed a Desperate Housewives-esque secret to Eva Longoria at the weekend.

 

Jeremy Renner apparently revealed that he is going to be a father.

The 42-year-old actor was overheard telling her that he is going to be a father as one of his former flames is pregnant!

Us Weekly reported that he said: “I’m going to fly in when her water breaks.” Eva then replied “I’m so blown away.” (Our thoughts exactly!)

A number of sources are said to have confirmed the whispers explaining that Renner’s relationship with the mother wasn’t anything serious.

 

The actor confided in Eva Longoria who seemed to be taken aback by the news.

The Bourne Legacy star is known for being secretive. He once hit back at The Hollywood Reporter for asking him about rumours concerning his sexuality.

He told them: “I want my personal life to be personal, and it’s not f**king true. And I don’t care if you’re talking about things that are true, you’re still talking about my personal life.”

Unfortunately we reckon he might just have to get used to that over the coming months as the cat is now well and truly out of the bag!
