A massive congratulations to the pair.

Helen Flanagan has welcomed her third child, a baby boy, with partner Scott Sinclair.

The footballer announced the happy news on Instagram this week, sharing a photo of himself and the Coronation Street star along with their new arrival.

“I couldn’t ask for a better gift on my birthday, what a blessing!!!” he wrote. “Welcome to the world son. Charlie Scott Sinclair 25/03/21.”

The couple already have two daughters together, Matilda, who was born in 2015, and Delilah, born in 2018.

Flanagan, who is best known for portraying Rosie Webster in the long running soap, announced her third pregnancy back in September. She later stated that she wanted this baby to be her last.

“It’s not that I’m ungrateful and I think it’s okay to feel however you feel in pregnancy,” she said at the time. “My mum keeps telling me to enjoy it as it’s extremely likely this is my last pregnancy.

“I was really unwell this pregnancy with hyperemesis and had to move back to my parents house as I was so unwell and couldn’t look after the children and Scott was training.

“I don’t think I could ever go through hyperemesis again… I had it each pregnancy and [it] wiped me each time.”

A pregnancy complication that involves intense nausea and vomiting, hyperemesis is often characterised as a severe form of morning sickness. It is thought to affect just 1% of pregnant women, but is likely to recur with each pregnancy.

Flanagan and Sinclair announced their engagement back in 2018, but wedding plans have naturally been on hold since the beginning of the pandemic.

“Everything has gone out the window,” she told Fabulous magazine recently. “We had it planned that my little sister was going to get married in 2020 so we’d get married in 2021.

“Now I’m looking at maybe 2022, although I think so many people who have been in the same boat are going to get married that year. We’ll all be going to weddings every week!”
