Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren has scooped the award for Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year.
Mirren has been honoured with the prize from America’s oldest theatrical group for having “garnered international critical acclaim”.
In a statement the actress joked that it was “very saucy” of Harvard to be giving her such a prize.
"As someone who adores Pudding in all its manifestations - Suet, Christmas, Treacle, Bread and Butter, Yorkshire, Plum, Figgy, etc, etc - I am so looking forward to the famous Hasty Pudding," she added.
The Woman of the Year awards have previously been given to the likes of Meryl Streep, Katharine Hepburn, Julia Roberts and Marion Cotillard.
Mirren will be accepting the Hasty Pudding Theatricals award on January 30th. The Man of the Year recipient will be honored on February 7th.
