Earlier this month, Clooney revealed that he would marry Alamuddin, a human rights lawyer, where the couple first met last year.
“I met my lovely bride to be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places,” he said.
The newlyweds, friends and family arrived for the festivities, which will continue through until Monday, yesterday.
The Venetian waters were packed with folk travelling to the wedding party.
Guests include Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Bill Murray, Bono and Cindy Crawford to name but a few.
Now we just need to get a glimpse of the blushing bride!
