Bookies reckon Harry and Meghan will name their baby girl ‘Diana’

Melissa Carton

What do you think they will name her?

Meghan and Harry have been a huge taking point the last few weeks, but lately it has moved from their Oprah interview to their baby.

With Meghan almost due the couple’s daughter, many are taking bets on what they will call her.

Bookies in particular have their theories on what they think Harry and Meghan will call their baby girl so we’ll be interested to see if the couple actually choose any of the speculated names.

Some bookies have been correct in the past, especially when it came to predicting the names that William and Kate ended up choosing.

Harry and Meghan are more of a wild card though, and they won’t necessarily go with a traditionally name especially now that they have broken ties with their royal duties.

That being said, there are still quite a few names with royal connections high up on the bookie’s predictions.

These include Alice, which was the name of Philip’s grandmother (14-1 on Betfair, and 16-1 on Coral, Betway and William Hill), Alexandria, a popular name in the British royalty over the years (8-1 on Coral, 12-1 on Betway), Allegra (11-1 on Betfair and OddsMonkey), Abigail (14-1 on Betfair) and Anne, the same name as Harry’s aunt (25-1 on Coral and Betway).

The number one name is probably no surprise to anyone: Diana, after Harry’s late mother.

The name currently has 5-1 odds on the Coral platform, 4-1 on Betfair and Paddy Power, and 3-1 on Betway and William Hill.

Royal insiders don’t think this will be the case but think there is a strong possibility that Diana will be chosen as a middle name.

With Meghan only weeks away from her due date it won’t be long before we find out for definite what the couple have chosen.
