Here’s what Duchess Kate does to make sure she never upstages a bride

Kate Middleton goes to a lot of weddings.

And in fairness, you would too if you had unlimited money for class outfits, knew a lot of people, and also had a lot of time on your hands.

Might as well, like.

Still though, despite the fact that Kate goes to a lot of weddings and looks, of course, unreal, there is something she pretty much always does to make sure that she doesn’t upstage the bride.

You know, like any good mate would do.

So kind of her.

Anyway, if you’re looking to take a bit of inspo from the Duchess to take a backseat at an upcoming wedding, just wear an outfit that you’ve already worn before.

That’s what Kate does and it does work… kind of.

At Meghan and Harry’s wedding over the weekend, Kate wore an Alexander McQueen coat that she had sported not once, not twice, but three times previously.

Which, you know, absolutely would not be a big deal for other people but when you’re a royal we guess it must be.

This isn’t the first time Kate has re-wore an outfit either.

Back in 2011 at Zara Phillips’ wedding, Kate also wore a coat she had worn a few times before.

And similarly at Emily McCorquodale and James Hutt’s wedding, she dusted off a Jenny Packham coat she’s quite fond of too.

Now, on one hand, you could easily say that Duchess Kate doesn’t have an infinite number of coats and so sometimes, she simply has to wear the same ones.

And then on the other hand, you could be like nah, she could buy a new coat every day if she wanted to, this is definitely her logic.

We may probably never know for sure.
