Holly Willoughby left This Morning fans in stitches after a totally ridiculous comment

We can't cope.

We really do love Holly Willoughby - she's just one of those people you wish you were mates with. And, like most of our mates, she has those really silly moments. Holly just happens to have them on live television, rather than in a Starbucks. While chatting to her co-host, Philip Schofield, Holly made a pretty hilarious claim about sloths. "I heard somewhere that if you turn a sloth upside down, it explodes. I don't know if it's true." .... WHAT? Philip replied: "But sloths don't swim on their backs. They don't come down the tree thinking I won't turn over, because if I do, I'll explode." Naturally, the pair were scoffing laughing throughout the whole chat.

Holly Willoughby was sure she had a point, saying: "I'm feeling that there is some truth in this."

"'Apparently they don't fart either. The producers are telling me in my ear. That would make you explode."

It got to the point where they got a zookeeper on the phone, to put the whole discussion to rest. "I'm really sorry Holly they don't explode. Once a week they go down to the grounds to go to the toilet, and they crawl around a bit, so if it happens they don't explode." So there you have it now. Sloths don't explode due to a lack of farting.
