Holly Willoughby used to have brown hair and yes, she looked like a completely different person.

The popular presenter took to Instagram this week to share a photo of herself as a teenager with dark brown hair and we never would have recognised her. Mum of three Holly shared the throwback snap and wrote:

"Once upon a time in a land before blonde..."

It wasn't long before comments started pouring in from fans who were keen to tell Holly how much they loved her dark brown hair and indeed many encouraged her to return to her brunette days. Between the sharp brown bob and the poloneck top, there's a definite 90s aesthetic with this snap and we all appreciate some nostalgia now and again. Holly is currently enjoying the Christmas break from This Morning and has been indulging in some festive activities, including a trip to Lapland to see the big man himself. She also had a girls day out with pals including Emma Bunton and Christine Lampard where they drank bubbles aboard the Belmond British Pullman train, the ultimate in luxury FYI. The mini holiday looks very enjoyable but when asked about her job recently, Holly was keen to discuss how much she loves her job and working with co-host Philip Schofield. The pair reacted to reports that there was a rift between them, dismissing this suggestion as completely false. Speaking to BBC's Newsbeat, the 38-year-old said they were "very lucky" to have such a close bond, so much so that they still go on holiday together.

"You couldn't do the amount of hours of TV that we do with each other without getting on."
