Home and Away actress Bridgette Sneddon has spoken out about her exit from the show.
Speaking about her decision, Bridgette said: “I’m excited about the future. I had a lot of fun playing out Sophie’s journey.
“I learnt more in the nine months on Home and Away about acting than in any other job or acting class I’ve done. As an actor, you have two options – sink or swim. I just kept swimming.”
“The highs, the lows and the downright crazy – it was such an incredible ride for me personally. I guess there is nothing like leaving with a bang.

Both Bridgette and her husband Steve Peacocke, who plays Brax on the popular soap, are leaving to concentrate on Hollywood roles.
Bridgette plays Sophie Taylor on the show and Steve is one of the soap’s much-loved characters thanks to his role as a Braxton brother.
They recently filmed their final scenes although fans can rest assured that Brax will continue to be a part of the show for the best part of this year…PHEW.
