“I Don’t Ever, Ever Speak to Him” Rebecca Ferguson Opens up About 1D’s Zayn Malik

If you’re anything like us, chances are you thought that Harry Styles was the only member of One Direction interested in the older ladies, that is until Zayn Malik started stepping out with Rebecca Ferguson last year.

The pair were absolutely smitten with each other, however their romance didn’t last and they ended up parting ways after four months together. Sad face.

But did the pair remain friends? Eh…hell no according to Rebecca, who has just revealed that she’s no longer in contact with Zayn.

“I don’t ever, ever speak to him. I have maintained friends with some exes, it just depends on the person,” said Rebecca, speaking to Metro recently.

“I never felt the need to continue with his friendship,” she added.

Chances are you remember the controversy that surrounded Rebecca and Zyan when they first started dating – the media was up in arms due to the couple’s 7-year age gap.

And now it seems like Zayn has decided to stick to his own age bracket because he’s currently stepping out with Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards.

Rebecca says that she wishes Perrie “well” and that right now she’s just too focussed on her own career to think about finding someone else.

“I’m not dating, I get so distracted,” Rebecca said.

“I’m just one of those girls that fall in love and I fall hard and it really just distracts me. I finally got to that point where I’m like: ‘No, boys can wait – I’ve got too much to do right now,’” she added.
