“I Felt So Used” – The Hills Lead Claims Her Co-Stars Were Bribed To Lie About Alleged Drug Problem

Lead star of The Hills, Kristin Cavallari, has claimed that producers of the show bribed her fellow stars to lie about an alleged drug problem. Cavallari denied any allegations of drug abuse and claimed to E! that the show had gone too far.

Cavallari had already revealed the truth about the reality show to American host Andy Cohen, claiming: “Fake relationships, fake fights. It was fun, ‘cause you’re acting. And that was more fun for me.”

However, now Cavallari has gone further and announced that the producers were out to make false claims about her and an apparent drug problem. In an E! special, Cavallari declared that one producer attempted to bribe her co-stars with $10,000 Birkin bags to fabricate stories about her the problem.

Cavallari told Giuliana Rancic in the E! special interview that the co-stars were encouraged to lie about the issue as a plot point for the last season. The star commented: “I felt so used. And I realized at that moment that I didn't matter. None of us mattered. It was all about ratings.”

Cavallari first became involved with reality TV when she was hand-picked to appear in Laguna Beach; she then went on to be the main focus of the latter series of The Hills.
