X Factor contestant Ben Haenow is planning to propose to his long-term girlfriend, Jessica Jones.
Ben, who has been going out with Jessica for six and a half years, has said he wants the all-important moment to happen in an “organic” way.
In an interview with OK! magazine, the X Factor finalist talked about popping the question.
“It’s something that’s going to be organic rather than: “If I get to this stage in the competition, I’m going to propose.”
“Without wanting to give too much away, I would like to do it soon” continued Ben.
Jessica said she “wants the proposal whenever” and revealed that she first spotted Ben when he worked in her local branch of Sainsbury’s.
“I’ve known Ben for many years, I went away to dance college for a couple of years.
‘When I was 21, I popped back one day to see if he was still in Sainsbury’s and then I just kept popping in. I used to get very excited about going to Sainsbury’s”.
