Declan Donnelly of Ant and Dec fame has reportedly proposed to his girlfriend Ali Astall (36) this week ahead of the I’m A Celebrity launch.
According to The Mirror, the TV host got down on bended knee at the weekend. The couple have been dating for just over a year and a half and have worked together for more than ten years.
“Dec and Ali are completely besotted with each other,” a source told the newspaper. “They have been best friends for a long time. Dec soon realised that he’d met the girl he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and felt ready to settle down.
“They’re keen to start a family and want to get hitched next year,” the insider continued. “Friends and family are delighted and see that they’re taking the next step as they’re perfect for each other.”
In the past, the 39-year-old I’m a Celebrity presenter also dated Georgie Thompson and had an 11-year relationship with Claire Buckfield.
