English Olympic swimmer and former I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here contestant Rebecca Adlington has announced that she is pregnant this week.
The Olympic gold medallist (25) is expecting her first child with new husband Harry Needs and has revealed that she would like to have a water birth.
“A few friends have recommended it. I would like the birth to be as natural as possible, but you can’t really plan it, can you?” she told Hello! “Thanks goodness everything is okay. It was such a relief to see the heartbeat.
“I think you feel such a responsibility as the woman because you are the one looking after the baby. So Harry was more excited but I was nervous,” she continued, before adding that the baby is due on June 4th next year.
Adlington appeared in I’m A Celeb in 2013, finishing seventh in a season won by Westlife’s Kian Egan.
