Scarlett Johansson has opened up for the first time about becoming a mother, saying that she is "just trying to manage".
The actress married partner Romain Dauriac in a secret ceremony in Montana two months ago, just weeks after the birth of their first child Rose.
Speaking to German magazine Gala, the star said that she was enjoying motherhood but was still adjusting to the challenges of being a parent.
"It’s exhausting in the most wonderful way. I never thought how much sleeping through the night would mean to me," she said.
"I still lack experience. Right now I’m just trying to manage. You have to first, how should I put it, learn the ropes."
The Lucy actress is clearly infatuated with her new arrival and was spotted showing photos to Julianne Moore at a Hollywood event on Monday.
"She smells sweet, totally. I can't quite describe it, but it really makes you euphoric," she said.
