Upsetting news.
Suzanne Jackson is flying home early from her family holiday in Lanzarote after it was confirmed that one of her dogs has passed away.
The blogger, her husband Dylan O’Connor, her siblings and other family members had gone away together to celebrate Christmas in the sun, but the break has been cut short.
In an Instagram post, her younger sister Katie explained that Bella had sadly died.
“Suzanne is absolutely inconsolable,” she wrote this afternoon.
“We are flying home today.”
Many followers, as well as fellow bloggers including Erika Fox and Tara O’Farrell, shared messages of support after the news broke.
The news comes following Suzanne’s urgent appeal last night.
Bella and another family dog Marley, who were being minded in Drogheda by a relative, had gone missing yesterday morning, she said.
Bella, a former rescue puppy, was one of three dogs Suzanne and Dylan had together. Their other two, Maltese dogs Coco and Harper, are being looked after by friends of the couple.
Suzanne and Dylan adopted her last year.
