Irish influencer Dominique Nugent has announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend Paddy.
In a post on Instagram, the blogger shared the good news and explained the sweet way her partner popped the question.
“Last night Paddy organised the most special birthday surprise of my life when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him,” she wrote in her caption. “I’m actually still in shock!!”
Dominique explained that the whole evening felt “like a dream”, and that she “didn’t want it to end.”
“My heart has never felt so full of happiness and love,” she wrote.

“He walked back into my life 18 months ago and made me realise what it’s like to be truly loved by someone.”
She shared with her followers how she felt on their first date after they got back together.
“From our first date I felt like everything that happened in my life had been leading me back to him and into what would become the best time of my life.”
Dominique shared that she feels lucky to have someone like Paddy in her life.
“I couldn’t have wished for more amazing person to share my life with. I feel so lucky every single day that our lives brought us back together and gave us a second chance at love.”
