Irish Celebs We Want to be BFFs With

You can’t choose your family, but thankfully, you can choose your friends. This is probably why we all love our friends so much.

The bond we share with our friends tends to be a strong one. We know that we can call them no matter what sort of trouble we’re after getting ourselves into. We know that our bestie will have no problem coming to bail us out of jail if we should ever find ourselves in such a situation (and also providing that she’s not locked up with us).

Simply put, friends are great. They’re immense craic to be around, they add an extra dimension of joy to our lives and they’re always there to offer up a sympathetic ear and a shoulder to cry on if anything goes wrong in our life.

We love them, we really do.

If you could be BFFs with anyone in the entire world, who would it be and why?

Amy Huberman: She’s hilarious, she’s always smiling, she has killer style and she has a bit of a potty mouth (but in the best way possible). Yes, Amy is our kind of girl.

Add all of these qualities to the fact that she’s also an amazing actress and a best-selling author and you can see why we’d love to have Amy on speed dial. Could you imagine the girly nights out with Ms Huberman? Sure they’d only be epic!

Dara O’Briain: Dara is not only a mathematical genius, a dab hand at debating and an excellent writer, he’s also our comedic soul mate. Really.

The man literally oozes craic and we can only imagine the laughs he’d give us if he was our BFF. With Dara as your bestie, you’d be guaranteed to get up to some kind of divilment. We reckon he’d be the perfect person to call if you needed a bit of cheering up.

Jennifer Maguire: Jennifer is like the cool sister that we’ve always wanted. She’s cheeky, she’s sarcastic, she knows how to work the perfect pout and she’s just an all-round legend.

The queen of banter, she’d definitely be a right laugh to hang out with. Jen, if you’re reading this, call us? We’d love to do cocktails sometime!

Marian Keyes: We love Marian (and not just because she bakes a mean cake…oh okay…that’s one of the many reasons then…).
