We’ve always admired Britney for the catchy pop tunes that  have made her a star but the singer has revealed that her children believe, like Clark Kent, she is a superhero in disguise.

Britney, who nabbed a judging role on The X Factor USA this year alongside notorious meanie Simon Cowell, is mother to two little boys, Preston, seven and Jayden, six.

"They try to figure out where I go when I go film X Factor," she laughed to Lucky magazine.

"They're like 'Mommy's going off to be a superhero.' "

Meanwhile, Britney’s new boss Simon has been urging her to quit smoking, which he feels is ruining her career.

“He smokes but he isn't a singer,” a source told Now Magazine.

“He's told her she's ruining her career, but she just won't listen.”

Her.ie thinks Miss Britney should kick those fags to the curb. She doesn’t have time for a cigarette break now that she’s saving the world.
