Is Mayer the Player Settling Down With His New Love?

John Mayer is known for flitting from one romance to the next without so much as a second thought but it sounds as if the womaniser is finally ready to settle down.

Apparently the singer has been spotted looking at engagement rings sparking rumours that he is about to pop the question to girlfriend Katy Perry.

Singers Katy and John only started dating last year. 

The couple, who started dating last year, have had their fair share of ups and downs but are said to be serious about each other.

A source told Heat magazine: “John is serious about Katy, that’s for certain. He has never imagined settling down with someone, but he’s infatuated with her.

“They have the same sense of humour, they love the same music and they love to travel together.” Forget trust, honesty and respect, those are the real foundations of a long-lasting relationship!

Katy has walked down the aisle before, with comedian and womaniser Russell Brand. 

Despite his history friends are said to be happy for the pair and believe this could be the real deal, as the insider explained: “Although John’s got a reputation as a ladies’ man all of their friends completely approve because he’s so dedicated.

“He was looking at rings before Christmas and was making enquiries about getting one specially made.”

Nothing like a unique ring to distract from the fact that your man is known for being a bit of a love-rat, eh?!
