It’s Official – Benedict Cumberbatch And Sophie Hunter Are Married

Married on Valentine's Day... What an old romantic!  Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are officially man and wife. The Sherlock star tied the knot with 36-year-old Hunter today at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church in Mottistone, on the Isle of Wight. According to People magazine, the private ceremony was followed with a reception at Mottistone Manor. The couple, who have been notoriously private about their relationship, announced their engagement in spectacularly traditional English fashion with a notice in The Times in November and confirmed that the couple were expecting their first child together last month. Cumberbatch recently spoke of the reasons why he had fallen for Hunter, saying she's "just so cool". "She's proud of my work, she's proud of me, and she loves me. That's the bottom line, isn't it? That's one of the reasons it's a good fit. It could be a really difficult thing, but she's just so in command of it."
