Ladies, we’re sorry but you might have to return that hat you just bought. It’s official: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will not be tying the knot at their French home this weekend. Sad face.
Earlier today we reported that there was a fierce buzz going on around the Jolie-Pitt mansion in France as guests arrived for what was presumably a huge party for the 50th wedding anniversary of June and Bill Pitt, Brad’s mam and dad.
However, whispers started emerging that another celebration was also going to take place this weekend – namely, Brad and Angelina were going to have a quick, private wedding with their nearest and dearest in order to avoid any potential media frenzy.
“Brad flew in to oversee the preparations but they’re all here now. They say it’s for Jane and Bill but some think this could be it. Even Angelina’s private jeweller is here,” said a source.

However, HeatWorld is reporting that Brad’s rep has officially told TheInsider.com that there was no wedding and that the rumours were false.
We won’t lie, we’re pretty disappointed but then again, maybe this means that Brad and Angelina are actually gearing up to have a proper full white wedding at some stage in the future. Could you imagine it? We wonder who would be on the guest list and what kind of dress Angelina would wear – we’re thinking, in typical Angelina fashion, it would involve leather. What do you think?
