Jamie Redknapp is officially back on the market.
The ex-footballer is single for the summer after splitting up with girlfriend of several months Lizzie Bowden.
The pair were spotted on a number of dates but according to a source, Jamie has called it off to focus on his kids and his work.
“Jamie enjoys Lizzie’s company, but feels they are too different to pursue anything long-term,” a source told The Sun.
“His priority is his two sons and career, and he wants to hold out on finding the right woman to settle down with.
“He has a strong group of mates and a healthy social life so he is enjoying spending time with them.”
The relationship was Jamie’s first one since divorcing ex-wife of 19 years Louise, with whom he has sons 14-year-old Charley and 10-year-old Beau.
“Jamie has bided his time out of courtesy to Louise,” the source added.
This news comes after Louise revealed that she found the comparisons between her and Lizzie “weird”.
Lizzie, a model, was widely described as being a Louise lookalike.
“It is kinda weird!” Louise told The Guardian.
“And then I start looking at them thinking, ‘Do they look like me?’ But he’s got his taste.”
