Jay McGuiness has spoken out developing a bond with his Strictly Come Dancing partner Aliona Vilani.
The boy band star revealed to The Sun on Sunday: “You spend so much time with your partner that you do get really close really quickly. A lot of us feel like we have really bonded with the dancers.”

He added: “I am single but… As some of The Wanted’s fans pointed out, it’s a dance show, not a dating show. There won’t be any wandering eyes, either.
“Aliona is happily married to an Irish fellow who I think is a legend. So my eyes won’t wander in our rehearsals.”

Jay, who has impressed the judges so far this season, admitted that it is a challenging process.
“It has been really hard work but it’s supposed to be. It’s not supposed to be a nice walk in the park with a picnic.”
