Jeff Goldblum reading thirst tweets is the content you need today

What’s your favourite Jeff Goldblum film?

And don’t say Jurrasic Park because it doesn’t count.

Mine is The Fly due to the fact that it’s got everything you’d ever want from a Jeff Goldblum movie – bangin’ soundtrack, decent storyline, the painful and gruesome transformation of a man to a fly.

Stunning.

There’s one thing though that we haven’t seen Jeff Goldblum in, and that’s a humorous video of him reading tweets about himself.

Usually, these videos consist of celebrities reading mean tweets about themselves in a bid to prove that they don’t care what the general public has to say about them and that they too can laugh off criticism like the rest of us – through gritted teeth as our hearts break.

Jeff though, Jeff is too loved to ever receive even .5 percent of a mean tweet about him, so instead, Buzzfeed got him to read thirst tweets about himself and it was glorious.

In case you don’t know, a thirst tweet is a tweet where somebody thirsts over another person or, in other words, compliments them in a way that suggests that they have absolutely zero chill.

Jeff’s thirst tweets included everything from people wanting to let the actor murder them to wanting him to sit on their face to wishing that all of their relationships included him.

You know, normal stuff.

Jeff seemed to enjoy it all anyway – especially the tweet from a lesbian who said that she didn’t understand why she was attracted to a man who was about 30 years older than her but she wasn’t about to question it.

At the end of the video, Jeff says that he just had “the most fun ever in my life. Golly.”

We are honestly inclinded to agree.
