Jennifer Lawrence has reportedly split from her partner, Darren Aronofsky.
The actress had been dating the director since filming wrapped on Aronofsky’s latest movie, Mother!
The pair worked closely together during the movie in which Lawrence played a woman tormented by the needs of her husband and the attention that he craves.
People magazine has reported that the 28-year-old and the 47-year-old ended their relationship after a little over one year together.
Lawrence and Aronofsky kept their relationship mostly private, only posing for photos together on the red carpet.
They were first spotted together in August of this year.
The Black Swan director previously spoke about Lawrence’s talent as an actress, saying that she was “once-in-a-generation.”
Speaking on Entertainment Tonight, he said:
“I don’t know what makes her great. Maybe it was her parents, maybe it was the Kentucky water.
“I have no idea, but she’s, like, a once-in-a-generation talent, and just a whirlwind and a hurricane and an earthquake and a thunderstorm of talent.”
