Joe Wicks reveals the reason he changed his mind about marrying his girlfriend

The 32-year-old said he never really believed in marriage until he started a family.

Fitness coach and health food cookbook author Joe Wicks recently appeared on Loose Women to chat about his latest veggie book and changes in his personal life.

Back in November, Joe announced that he proposed to his girlfriend, Rosie, but this wasn’t something he had been planning until the couple had their first child together.

Joe and Rosie welcomed their little girl, baby Indie in July and Joe told the panel that something changed within his relationship after this happened.

He told the Loose Women panel about how his own childhood impacted upon his opinion on marriage saying:

“My mum and dad were never married but they would have been divorced every week if they were married. I never really had that much belief in the whole system but now I’m happy and we’ve got a baby I wanted to bring my family together.”

Joe revealed that he did indeed propose in a traditional manner, getting down on one knee when they were on holiday together. He said:

“When Indie came along I just had a real urge to want to ask her. I don’t know what it was.”

Joe’s new cookbook is entitled Veggie Lean In 15, and he also announced the exciting news that he will be creating Wean In 15, a book that details healthy recipes for the weaning process.

10/10 for that title, we think!
