"I’m really lucky that I didn’t lose her completely because, you know, even though relationships end, friendships don’t have to end.
"I was very happy that it can be, because that’s all I wanted. But I’m really happy that I remember all the fun times, all the good times, and nothing bad happened, it just is the definition of a cheesy saying of “right person, wrong time” and I hate cheesy sayings, but they’re true.
"But everything’s good, I’m good."
The YouTuber and Dancing with the Stars contestant admitted that their young ages, at only 17 and 18, and her hectic schedule was a big reason for the break-up.
She added: "We’re both so young, she’s 17, I’m 18, and we are literally best friends. And I would take a bullet for her, and I know she would do the same for me. We just — literally, right person, wrong time."
The pair had a long distance relationship and JoJo referred to Kylie as an "exceptional human" after encouraging her to come out publically.
She may have just confirmed it but JoJo made reference to the split when discussing that one week on Dancing With The Stars was particularly difficult.
She said: "What goes on in my personal life every day is something. However, this week was very, very extreme and something that I had never gone through and something that I’ve never felt before. And it’s tough and it’s tricky, but luckily I have really good people in my life. And I’m really lucky that every day this week I got to spend three hours with my best friend in rehearsals and we got to dance."Explore more on these topics:
