Kady McDermott has shut down rumours that she had a “secret boyfriend” during her entire time on Love Island.
The 27-year-old made her second appearance on Love Island this year when she arrived as a bombshell, seven years after coming in third place on the 2016 series.
But as she declared she was heading back into the villa in search of love on the show, it was reported that she actually had a secret boyfriend of over a year at home waiting.
The Sun reported that Kady was involved in a row backstage with producers over her secret boyfriend Liam Greer after fans noticed she had refused to kiss any of the boys.
Kady eventually coupled up with Casa Amor bombshell Ouzy See but the pair were dumped from the villa earlier this week.
As she returned to the UK and saw the rumours swirling about her “boyfriend”, Kady took to Twitter to reply to a fan who wrote: “Not the Islanders saying Ouzy and Kady have something beautiful going on between them but production team did not show us any of that.”

The Love Island star penned: “We were/are it’s a shame the show didn’t show that.”
She then posted a snap of herself and Ouzy as they returned to the UK.
The Sun reported that Kady and “boyfriend” Liam had enjoyed a “farewell dinner” the night before she flew over for the show.
A source said: “Kady and Liam went for a posh dinner in Mayfair together the night before she left for Love Island, like a romantic goodbye.”
The couple enjoyed a romantic getaway at a 5-star hotel in London last Valentine’s Day and also headed to the Maldives the following month.
When asked by The Sun about his relationship with Kady, Liam said: “I’ve got nothing to say about that.”
