Kate Middleton has been taking some well deserved time off since giving birth to the adorable Prince Louis. The mum-of-three has attended a handful of events since, including Prince Harry's wedding to Meghan Markle. This week, Kate stepped out for another important event, despite still being on maternity leave. Prince William's personal secretary, Miguel Head, finished up with The Cambridges this week. Kate and William stepped out to bid him farewell in a private meeting. "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon received Mr. Miguel Head upon relinquishing his appointment as Private Secretary to His Royal Highness," the Court Circular stated. Miguel has worked for the royal family for over a decade. In terms of royal maternity leave, apparently Kate is entitled to six months of no official engagements. According to HarpersBazaar.com  "It is traditional for new royal mums to take a six-month break from official engagements." "The wedding doesn't count because it was a 'family affair' but other than that, she will pick and choose her engagements. If she wanted, Kate could disappear into the background until October!" Kate's first official appearance has not yet been announced. But it should be pretty soon...
