A royal first.
Even though it’s not common or in fact, hardly heard of for royals to throw baby showers, that isn’t stopping Kate Middleton from throwing her sister-in-law a “truly unforgettable” party ahead of her first arrival.
Yes, according to Life & Style Magazine, Kate has already started planning a day which she believes will be “extra special” for her fellow royal.
The pair are closer than ever before!
This is big news especially since many already speculated that the royal would “break tradition” by having a baby shower. However, Harper’s Bazaar believed it’d be close friends, Priyanka Chopra or Jessica Mulroney organising the shower and not a fellow royal.
And although Kate never threw a shower for any of her three children, she’s taking all the planning and preparation onboard to make Meghan’s day perfect and we’ve no doubt she’ll do an amazing job.
Meghan announced her pregnancy via a statement in mid-October.
According to the Inquistir, the food will be an “American-style feast” with Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland expected to make a visit over for the special occasion.
The publication also notes that Kate has been Meghan’s “rock” during her pregnancy so far. Therefore, it seems fitting that the Duchess of Cambridge is in charge of planning the secret event.

Harry and Meghan are now back in the UK after a busy 16-day tour which saw them visit Australia, New Zealand, Figi and Tonga.
Next, Meghan and Kate are teaming up for a very special event on Saturday.
The duchesses will join their husbands in attending the Festival of Remembrance Service. This service is run by the Royal British Legion and is seen as a chance for them to thank all who served, sacrificed and changed the world we live in.
The event is black-tie and takes place in the Royal Albert Hall. With many famous faces expected in attendance, stars like Mel B and Birdy have previously provided entertainment for the event.
William and Kate have both regularly attended the event however, it’s going to be a first for both Meghan and Harry despite the fact that Harry has served in the army for ten years.
