Kate Middleton honoured Princess Diana with this special tribute yesterday

Yesterday, Kate Middleton and Prince William paid a visit to Dundee in Scotland. The royal couple were attending the official opening of the new V&A museum in the region. And Kate was, as always, looking fabulous. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a Black Watch tartan coat dress that she had previously worn in 2012. A classic Alexander McQueen piece! Kate accessorised the look with a pair of sapphire and diamond drop earrings from the collection of Princess Diana. The Duchess has worn these stunning earrings before, having worn them for the first time in 2011, just after her wedding. Princess Diana wore the earrings as both drop earrings and studs, but they were ultimately remodelled into single tear drops. And they're gorgeous. After the untimely passing of Princess Diana, her jewellery collection was left to her sons, Prince Harry and Prince William. The lovely thing is that Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are regularly spotted wearing pieces from Diana's collection. Such a lovely way to pay tribute to her.
