It seems like the Duchess is a bit of a matchmaker.

It clear to see that Harry and his sister-in-law Kate are quite close, and it was previously reported that the Duchess likes to give advice to Harry when he needs it. However, it has now come to light that Kate used to set Harry up on blind dates before he met Meghan. Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl writes in her new book Harry: Life, Loss, and Love that Kate, along with Princess Eugenie, would set Harry up with certain suitors after his relationship with Chelsy Davy broke down. According to E!, she wrote in her book: "Harry wasn't giving up [after things ended with exes Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas], even going on blind dates organized by Kate and his cousin Princess Eugenie, who had a good track record when it came to setting Harry up." The former royal correspondent  documented that Harry had "one last hurrah" with Chelsy in the summer of 2015, when they went on a secret trip to Africa together. “You sort of get the feeling that neither of them were quite ever willing to completely let go of that love affair," Katie told InStyle. "They’d carved their names into one of the tree trunks on the family estate. It was such a love affair, it really was. Right up until 2015 they were trying to give it another chance. I was quite struck by that and I think everyone that’s been in love, you know, you never forget your first love, and in that respect I think Prince Harry was no different. "And I think what’s so lovely is he still manages to have a friendship with Chelsy, and there’s that amazing respect between the two of them. Neither of them have spoken about their relationship and I think you have to respect and admire them for that.” Harry met Meghan in July 2016, after Violet von Westenholz, a PR woman for Ralph Lauren, gave Harry Meghan's number. Obviously, everything worked out there and they are set to marry on May 19... but we can't help but like the way Kate tried to find Harry love.
