Motor mouth Katie Hopkins has been silenced this morning, as hackers took control of her Twitter account.
Hopkins is a British television personality and columnist who first found fame on BBC’s The Apprentice. Since then she has become well-known for her outspoken and extremely controversial takes on various celebrities and current affairs matters.
On Sunday, hackers @deseeding and @Polbi25 took over Hopkins’ Twitter account, the source of many of her outbursts.
The account was hacked early on Sunday morning
All tweets from the columnist have now disappeared, in their place a string of messages regarding the release of “another” sex tape.
The attack does appear to be in retaliation for some of Katie’s more offensive outbursts, with one of the messages reading “Katie Hopkins been sneak dissin too much”.

Her username has also been changed to “jiggly jaws katie” – most likely a reference to her ongoing commentary on obesity and her documentary, in which she gained and lost three stone to “prove it could be done”.

The hack comes only one day after her latest rant, targeted at Dan Osbourne and Jacqueline Jossa’s baby girl Ella. Posting a picture of the infant, Hopkins wrote: “Hairy babies really scare me. Like finding a spider on your pillow.”

It’s more bad news for Hopkins, whose plans for a chat show on TLC have been derailed by the reluctance of many potential guests to appear beside her.
