Katja Mia revealed as the latest Dancing with the Stars contestant

Katja Mia has signed up for the RTÉ show

The Six O'Clock Show host revealed the exciting news this morning.

She said she cannot wait to channel her inner Sasha Fierce on the dancefloor.

Speaking about joining the show, Katja said she was feeling giddy about the challenge.

She told RTÉ: "I'm feeling extremely excited. I feel a bit giddy as well, I've met everyone, and everyone's kind of feeling the same.

"We're nervous. We're like, why did we agree to this? But we're also ready to just have fun," she said.

Katja has been seeking advice from her famous friends, including Brian Dowling.

She said her co-host has been helping to calm her nerves.

The presenter has also been reaching out to former Dancing with the Stars contestants for advice.

She said both Erica Cody and Suzanne Jackson have been hugely supportive.

"Suzanne Jackson gave me her number and said to call her anytime. They've been so supportive. So you can really see there's like a Dancing with the Stars family," Katja added.

2023 has been quite the special year for the presenter after she was revealed as the new host of The Six O'Clock Show in November.

We cannot wait to see Katja on Dancing with the Stars in 2024.
