Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are ENGAGED, and the ring is pretty interesting

Ah we love a happy ending! Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are officially engaged. Fan accounts of the star were going wild this morning, after a Facebook account claiming to belong to Katy's mother shared screenshots of the reported proposal from Valentine's Day. Cute, right?

The images were captioned: "look who got engaged last night".

Katy and Orlando can be seen cuddling under a heart-shaped arch, while posing for pictures.

It seems as though Orlando proposed with a pink sapphire ring, and it's very different! Mary Hudson, Katy's mum, also posted a glorious close up of the ring, so we can all have a good gawk. The ring appears to be a vintage style (or maybe just vintage, who knows). She also had her nails painted pink, so it was all very well coordinated. The couple began dating at the beginning of 2016 before taking a break from their relationship the following year. They reunited in 2018 and it's all well that ends well with the engagement news a sign of their commitment to each other.
