She started dating the electrician eight months after losing her husband, Tom Parker.
Throughout their short relationship, Kelsey was trolled relentlessly, but she told the public that she was allowed to be happy.
Speaking about her new relationship on Loose Women, Kelsey told the panel that being happy and grieving can co-exist.
"I just think that it was really tough for me…and I just wanted to say to people, ‘It’s ok for me to be happy and please don’t judge me because I’ve really been through it and I don’t need the judgment."
As happy as they were, Kelsey confirmed her relationship with Sean has since ended.
She explained that they're no longer together because "it just wasn't right".
During a Q&A on Instagram, the mum-of-two explained why their relationship didn't work out.
Kelsey told her followers: "We’re not together anymore. It’s a shame it didn’t work out as he’s a really amazing person, but it just wasn’t right."
Her relationship with Sean may not have worked out, but Kelsey is hopeful that she will fall in love again one day.
"Hopefully one day I will find love again," she added.
Kelsey was married to Tom Parker from The Wanted for four years before his untimely passing in 2022.
The pair were together for around 13 years before Tom tragically died from brain cancer.
They welcomed two children, a son Bodhi and a daughter Aurelia, together.
