Kensington Palace has an ‘aggressive’ strategy to stop Thomas Markle

This sounds intense.

Thomas Markle, the father of Meghan Markle, has been extremely vocal about his relationship with his daughter and has given numerous interviews in recent times. Ill health meant he was unable to walk his daughter down the aisle and since then, things between father and daughter have worsened., see here for some extra background info. However, according to reports, royal aides at Kensington Palace have been planning a way to rectify the situation. This isn't all that surprising as the situation has escalated considerably...Meghan's half-sister Samantha has been outspoken in her criticism of the former Suits actress while Piers Morgan decided to get involved via his Twitter account yesterday. In conversation with Entertainment Tonight, a royal insider said:

"The Palace, who normally takes a firm policy of not commenting on personal matters, is now considering a more aggressive strategy to deal with the situation with both her father and her sister. "No one wants to see this continue."

Sounds ominous. The source continued:

"She has not spoken to her father in more than 10 weeks since her wedding and is still hurt by her father, who has both staged the photos and continues to give paid interviews. "The Palace is at a loss of what to do and is re-evaluating options, including a more aggressive strategy to stem the embarrassment caused by Meghan's dad, half-sister and half-brother".

Apparently, royal officials are more concerned about Thomas, whom Meghan used to be very close to and less so with Samantha as she and Meghan never had a "real relationship" according to this particular source...ouch.
