“It seems like nobody wants to work these days.”
Kim Kardashain and her family have come under fire for comments they made about hard work during a recent interview.
In a video shoot for Variety, Kim was asked to respond to criticism that her family are famous simply for being famous.
To this, Kim responded with: “Who gives a fuck. We focus on the positives. We work our asses off. If that’s what you think, then sorry.”
She continued: “We just don’t have the energy for that. We don’t have to sing or dance or act. We get to live our lives, and hey, we made it. I don’t know what to tell you.”
Kim then went on to give “the best advice for women in business”.
She said: “Get your fucking ass up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days.”
Kourtney then chipped in, saying: “That’s so true.”

The gang were met with backlash online, with many highlighting how it’s easy to encourage others to work hard when you yourself are in a position of privilege.
One social media took to Twitter to say: “Not Kim Kardashian telling working class women to ‘get your fucking ass up and work.'”
Another wrote: “Now I love Kim Kardashian but I find it so funny she is saying get up and work hard and it seems no one wants to f’kn work these days but like yeah why would we? Lol a billionaire is not in touch with what it’s like to actually work for everyday people.”
A third tweeted: “I don’t doubt that Kim Kardashian works hard but let’s not diminish the struggles of many women in the world. Her success and the struggles of others are not solely related to work ethic and more successful individuals need to acknowledge that.”
